How To Refer A Friend

FWB Broadband

1. Give your friend your Customer ID and the promo code ‘FWB’

 Your MyRepublic Customer ID (e.g. C1XXXXXX) can be found in the monthly bill we email to you.        Alternatively, you may retrieve and share your unique referral link in MyAccount, under the Friends with Benefits tab.

2.Your friend signs up online with your Customer ID and promo code

They must key in the promo code ‘FWB’ first to see the plans eligible for the 10% discount and then key in your Customer ID later in the “Referral Customer Subscription ID” field.

3.You receive your referral credit once your friend’s service is installed 

Your referral credit will appear in your MyRepublic account once your friend’s broadband service is installed, and your friend makes full payment for the first bill. The monthly credit will be used to offset your following MyRepublic bills!

 

FWB Mobile

1. Give your friend your unique referral link
You may retrieve and share your unique referral link in MyAccount, under the Friends with Benefits tab.


2. Your friend signs up online via your referral link
They can sign up for exclusive MyRepublic Mobile plans via your referral link.

3.You receive your referral credit once your friend completed the first bill payment

Your referral credit will appear in your MyRepublic account once your friend makes full payment for the first bill, and the one-time credit will be used to offset your next MyRepublic bill!

1. What is MyRepublic “Friends with Benefits” Program?
MyRepublic “Friends with Benefits” (FWB) is a refer-a-friend rewards program that rewards our existing customers for referring their friends to MyRepublic broadband and mobile. Their referred friends get to enjoy exclusive discounts and plans too.

2.What is the difference between FWB Broadband and FWB Mobile?

The benefits for referring your friends to MyRepublic broadband are different from the benefits for referring your friends to MyRepublic mobile.

The differences are as follow:

3.Who is eligible for the program?
A referrer must be an existing MyRepublic mobile or broadband customer.
A referee can be either be a new or an existing customer signing up to new mobile or broadband service.

4.How can I refer my friends?
For Broadband referral, you may give your friend your Customer ID (e.g. C1XXXXXX, can be found in your bill) and the promo code ‘FWB’. Alternatively, you may retrieve and share your unique referral link in MyAccount, under the Friends with Benefits tab.


For Mobile referral, you may retrieve and share your unique referral link in MyAccount, under the Friends with Benefits tab.

 

5.Can I refer my friend to sign up at a retail shop or with a MPP consultant?
Our Friends with Benefits program is only applicable for online sign-ups.

6. Can I refer myself to sign up for a new mobile or broadband service?

Yes, you may refer yourself as long as you are an existing MyRepublic mobile or broadband customer signing for to a new mobile or broadband service.


7.Is there a limit on the number of referrals?

There’s no limit to how many friends you can refer and how much credit you can earn for your MyRepublic bills.

 

8.Where can I track my referrals and credit status?
You may see a summary of your referrals and the credit status in MyAccount, under the Friends with Benefits tab.

9.What will happen to my credit if there is no/ insufficient amount to deduct from my bill?

Excess credits that can’t be covered by the current bill will be carried over to the next bill, up to a maximum of 6 months from first credit date. 

 

10.I’m a MyRepublic broadband and mobile customer, which account will the credit go under?

You may choose the crediting account by retrieving the referral link under the respective account.

To credit under your Broadband account, login to MyAccount Broadband to retrieve your referral link.

To credit under your Mobile account, login to MyAccount Mobile to retrieve your referral link.

 

11.My friend has signed up for the mobile/ broadband service, but I have not received my credit. Why is that so?

For Broadband referral, your credit will only appear in your account once your friend’s broadband service is installed, and your friend makes full payment for the first bill.

For Mobile referral, your credit will only appear in your account once your friend makes full payment for the first bill.

You may not receive the credit in the following events:

  • The referrer’s account is inactive and is not in good credit standing, with prior suspension
  • The referee did not sign up via your referral link or make full payment for the first bill by the due date  
  • The referee’s order is canceled for any reason

12.What can I do with my referral credits?
The referral credits are used to cover the cost of your MyRepublic bill, which means savings over time. If the monthly credit you earn exceeds the cost of your MyRepublic bill, you can also redeem your accumulated unused credit for vouchers.

13.What are the vouchers available for redemption? Is there an expiration date?
At present, you can redeem your referral credit for Lazada vouchers in multiples of S$40.

14.I did not receive my full credit. Why is that so?
Your referral credit comes in 2 parts: the basic $2 credit per referral and the bonus credit you get when you refer 6 or more friends.

The basic referral credit will be given once your friend’s broadband service is installed, and your friend makes full payment for the first bill.

Your bonus tier credits will be given on the 1st of the following month.
For example, 

  • If you have 6 active referrals (assuming they’ve paid their MyRepublic bills) on the last day of January, you will get $1 x 6 bonus credits on the 1st of February
  • If you have 21 active referrals (assuming they’ve paid their MyRepublic bills) on the last day of March, you will get $2 x 21 bonus credit on the 1st of April
