Checking your Physical Network Setup

Here's how a typical set up should look like:

What to check for?
  • Make sure that the yellow fibre patch cord, Ethernet cable, and power supply wire is not bent or broken and it's properly secured to the power point
  • Power is switched on
  • There are lights on your modem and router

If your connection is not working after you have followed the above, please test with an alternative cable just to make sure this isn't the issue.
