Typical Speeds of our Fibre Broadband Plans
|Plan Type||Typical Local Download Speeds|
|GAMER 1Gbps||812 - 918 Mbps|
|Ultra 1Gbps||511 - 920 Mbps|
The above results were achieved via a direct wired LAN connection to the ONT with a Cat5e cable. It shows each plan's minimum and maximum speed over the last 90days, based on more than 1,440 measured readings per month during the test.
These results were taken from tests conducted between 1 June 2019 to 1 July 2019 during both Peak (usually between 6.30pm to 2am) and off-peak hours (usually between 2am to 6pm).
MyRepublic's 1Gbps plans have a maximum download speed of 1 Gbps and a maximum upload speed of 500 Mbps.
Computation of MyRepublic Typical Speed Results

The broadband speeds were computed based on the transfer of data between the end-user point and the speed test servers and are determined by iPerf, an opensource testing tool.
The end-user device used in these test had the following specifications:
|Manufacturer & Model||Processor||Installed Memory (RAM)||System Type||Network Interface Card|
|Intel Core i5 (4th Gen) 4300U /
1.9GHz - 2.9GHz
|8GB installed||64-bit Operating System, x64-based processor||1000 Base-T|
