Things you need to note before porting your mobile no. over to MyRepublic.
During submission of number porting request - you need to enter the same details as what is with your original telco. Details include:
- Name of registered owner of the mobile number#
- NRIC/ ID
- Mobile number (Postpaid number only. Prepaid numbers cannot be transferred)
- Original telco
#If the mobile number is not registered under your name, not to worry. You may download authorisation form and submit it together with the registered owner 's NRIC/FIN during your sign-up.
Mobile number registered under company cannot be transferred but we are working on it now. Stay tuned!
Applied for number porting?
If you did, make sure you have...
- Kept your number active with your current mobile service provider e.g. it can't be suspended or inactive for number porting.
- Cleared any outstanding payments with your current mobile service provider.
