Currently, our accepted payment methods are credit card (VISA and MasterCard), debit card or GIRO.
As a new customer you will be asked to provide your payment method details on the Service Application form during sign up.
Unfortunately these partner cards are not supported:
- Citi debit card (Citibank)
- AMEX credit card
Updating Your Credit or Debit Card Details
If you wish to change/update your payment method to a another credit/debit card, login to MyAccount - our customer portal.
Under the section “Payment Information”, you can click on the "Edit" button to enter your new card payment details here.
If you wish to update your payment method to GIRO using POSB or DBS, you may apply for GIRO payment electronically by visiting the MyRepublic office with your ATM card (eDDA) or setup GIRO arrangement via Internet banking (iDDA).

Electronic and online GIRO applications are much faster than paper applications.
Alternatively, you may download and fill out a paper GIRO application form

Do note that only original pen inked signed forms are accepted by the bank for GIRO applications.
Please mail the original GIRO form and allow 4 to 6 weeks to process the application with the bank.
While the GIRO is being processed, do arrange for an alternative mode of payment to prevent service disruptions.
You can also make cash/NETS payment at our main office.
