**Important Side Note** MyRepublic Wi-Fi Halo: When changing LAN/DHCP IP

LAN IP on Wi-Fi Halo

Before completing the configuration and filling out the 3 boxes (outlined in purple in the screenshot below), error message boxes may sometimes appear on the wrong fields, for example, as pictured in the screenshot for the 3rd field highlighted.

As this does not affect the actual functionality of the feature, the fix is simple - just ignore the error boxes and fill all 3 boxes up as per normal and apply the changes.


Network-Attached Storage devices with the UPnP function can usually connect outside of a router's stated DHCP IP range, but when connecting to a Halo, they will still need to have their LAN IP set to the DHCP IP range of the Halo router, or they will not be able to connect to the Halo.

The workaround would be to set the LAN IP of the NAS to the range of the DHCP IP set on the Halo
